Kassel (dpa/lhe) - The police in Kassel are investigating a suspected homicide. As the public prosecutor's office and the police headquarters in North Hesse announced on Wednesday, a 55-year-old man succumbed to his head injuries on Tuesday night. Passers-by found an unconscious man in Kassel on Saturday evening. An autopsy of the deceased showed that the injury picture speaks for external influence and thus a homicide, the police reported.
Criminal Investigation Department took over the investigation. Nothing is known about the alleged perpetrator. The police are looking for witnesses, especially for a 50 to 60-year-old man who, according to a first responder, is said to have stayed with the unconscious man.
