Hesse: Man found with stab wounds on sidewalk

Echzell (dpa / lhe) - A man seriously injured by stitches and cuts was found on a sidewalk in the Wetteraukreis. The 25-year-old was taken to a clinic and is no longer in mortal danger, the public prosecutor and the police said on Wednesday. A 39-year-old suspect was arrested and taken into custody in the search that was launched immediately on Tuesday afternoon. The background to the act in Echzell-Gettenau was initially unclear. The 25-year-old suffered injuries to his upper body and neck and is being investigated for attempted manslaughter.
