Limburg (dpa/lhe) - A 54-year-old man was seriously injured with a knife on the station forecourt in Limburg on Sunday. Passers-by dialed 911. The Bulgarian had to be taken to a clinic in a rescue helicopter with stab wounds, the police said in the evening.
A suspect was arrested at his home a few hours after the incident. "After consultation with the Limburg public prosecutor's office, the act was classified as attempted homicide and the 28-year-old was taken into custody," the police said. The man, who has Afghan nationality, is due to be brought before the magistrate on Monday.
