On Thursday morning, the values ​​should be between minus 12 and minus 4 degrees Celsius, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced in Offenbach in the morning. It can therefore become slippery on the streets due to freezing wet conditions. During the course of the day there is still light permafrost with maximum temperatures between minus 5 and 0 degrees, on the Rhine the temperatures can also rise above the freezing point. In addition, it is foggy and cloudy all day in the west of the country, in the east there can also be sunny periods. In the night to Friday, according to the information, it will remain dry with lows down to minus 10 degrees, locally minus 15 degrees are also possible.

According to the DWD forecast, it will be a little friendlier on Friday, with a lot of sunshine expected, especially in the south. The maximum values ​​during the day are minus 5 to 0 degrees, at night the temperatures drop to minus 12 to minus 15 degrees. The weather service continues to warn of ice.

For Sunday, the DWD meteorologists expect widespread sunshine, in the north it is partly cloudy. Temperatures reach minus 1 degree.
