Homberg (dpa/lhe) - The disappearance of a mother and her five-month-old son from Homberg (Efze) in northern Hesse in January 2019 became a case for the ZDF television program "Aktenzeichen XY... unsolved". The investigators are hoping for information on the unsolved case from a public call for witnesses on the program on Wednesday (June 1, 8:15 p.m.).
The 20-year-old Eritrean disappeared with her child on January 14, 2019. According to investigators, she left her apartment in Homberg (Schwalm-Eder district) with her son that day. She was last seen at Wabern train station when she boarded a train towards Kassel. Since then there has been no trace of her and her son. Due to the circumstances of the disappearance without personal belongings, the police do not rule out a crime against the two missing persons.
