Frankfurt am Main (dpa/lhe) - A 68-year-old died in a collision between a motorcycle and a truck on the A5 near Frankfurt am Main on Friday. According to the current status of the investigation, the truck driver overlooked the motorcyclist when changing lanes, the police said. The A5 was closed for several hours between Bad Homborger Kreuz and Westkreuz.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital in a rescue helicopter, but eventually succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the truck escaped the collision without serious injuries. The exact cause of the accident is not yet clear.
