Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) - The ramp from Autobahn 5 towards Kassel to the A66 will be closed in the direction of Frankfurt-Miquelallee overnight on Saturday. The reason for this is preparatory work for the renovation of a junction ramp in Northwest Cross Frankfurt, as announced by the West branch of Autobahn GmbH on Wednesday. The closure begins on Friday (26 August) at 9:00 p.m. and ends on Saturday (27 August) at 6:00 a.m. Detours run from Westkreuz Frankfurt via the A648 in the direction of Frankfurt-Stadtmitte and Eschborn (direction Wiesbaden).
The actual renovation of the ramp will begin on September 9th and will serve to renew the roadway. The Autobahn GmbH announced that the ramp would have to be completely closed during the construction work. Detour routes will be set up.
