Offenbach (dpa/lhe) - With lots of clouds, rain and single-digit temperatures, the weather forecast in Hesse is rather gloomy in the coming days. On Wednesday it was widely overcast and there was occasional rain or drizzle, the German Weather Service in Offenbach said on Tuesday. The maximum temperatures are between five and eight degrees.
In the night to Thursday there could be frost at higher altitudes and thus the risk of ice. During the day the cloudy weather continued with clouds and occasional rain. Snow can also fall in the higher mountains. The maximum temperature is then in the Rhine-Main area at seven degrees, otherwise at a maximum of five degrees.
According to the meteorologists, it will also remain very cloudy on Friday, but there may be a short break. Towards the evening there could be a slight rapid fall in some areas, rain or sleet at lower altitudes in southern and central Hesse. The temperatures are between two and five degrees in northern and central Hesse, and seven degrees in the Rhine-Main area.
