Offenbach (dpa / lhe) - The week in Hesse starts with maximum temperatures in the double digits. With up to 24 degrees, Monday should be mostly clear and rain-free, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced. At high altitudes, the maximum is 18 degrees and there can be strong gusts at times. Later in the evening and during the night on Tuesday it is supposed to rain heavily in some areas. On Tuesday morning there may be heavy rain and light thunderstorms, especially north of the Main.
On Tuesday it will only clear up in the second half of the day, before that it will remain rainy, sometimes with thunderstorms. According to the DWD, only in southern Hesse should there be rain showers into the evening. The maximum values drop to 17 to 20 degrees, in the high altitudes to 14 degrees. Wednesday will be rain-free again, but the maximum temperatures will continue to drop to 13 to 17 degrees.
