Hesse: patrol car collides with car: three injured

Heusenstamm/Offenbach (dpa/lhe) - A police car collided with a car during an operation. The two 27 and 22-year-old officers and the 55-year-old driver of the other car suffered minor injuries. The police officers were on Sunday evening in Heusenstamm (Offenbach district) with blue lights and sirens, as a spokesman for the Offenbach police headquarters said on Monday. When they went through a red light at an intersection, they collided with the car of the 55-year-old, who was just entering the intersection. The accident caused damage of around 55,000 euros.
