Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) - During construction work in Wiesbaden, one person suffered severe burns. The fire brigade announced on Monday that a power line had been accidentally severed. The seriously injured person was flown to a special clinic in Ludwigshafen by rescue helicopter. The fire brigade was informed in the afternoon that a gas line in a building under construction may have been damaged.
When firefighters arrived, all the workers present had already evacuated the building, it said. Fortunately, no fire or escaping gas could have been detected, it said. The power line is in the basement.
