Hesse: Residential building completely burned out

Elz (dpa/lhe) - A fire destroyed a residential building in the Limburg-Weilburg district in central Hesse. The building in Elz was completely burned out on Saturday afternoon and no longer habitable, the police said in the evening. The fire brigade prevented the flames from spreading to a neighboring building. At the time of the fire nobody was home. 70 firefighters were on site. The police estimated the property damage at 250,000 euros. She is now investigating what caused the fire.
