Vellmar (dpa/lhe) - During a robbery, at least two unknown perpetrators threatened and tied up the two residents of a terraced house in Vellmar (Kassel district). According to the police, the perpetrators broke into the house early Monday morning. When the residents woke up because of the noise, they were threatened by the strangers with a striking tool and tied up. According to the police, the perpetrators stole valuable pieces of jewelry from a safe worth a five-figure sum and fled.
The residents managed to free themselves a short time later and alerted the police. The immediately initiated search for the perpetrators by numerous patrols of the Kassel police was initially unsuccessful. The woman and man who were victims of the aggravated robbery suffered minor injuries. The Kassel criminal police are looking for witnesses.
