Tann/Bad Schwalbach (dpa/lhe) - A 28-year-old was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in the Rhön. According to the police, the driver lost control of the motorcycle when turning on Sunday evening, slipped and fell. After the accident in Tann (Fulda district), he had to be taken to the hospital with leg injuries. The road was partially covered with loose chippings, the police said on Monday about the possible cause of the accident.
On Sunday afternoon, a motorcyclist in the Rheingau-Taunus district fell after a curve and collided with the guardrail. Shortly before, the 44-year-old had overtaken several other motorcyclists between Heidenrod-Geroldstein and Bad Schwalbach, the police said. The seriously injured had to be taken to the hospital.
