The heat record for the country of 40.2 degrees Celsius, measured on July 25, 2019 at the weather station in Frankfurt's Westend, was clearly undercut. According to the DWD, the maximum value on Tuesday was 38.4 degrees Celsius at Frankfurt Airport.
