Korbach (dpa/lhe) - The 33-year-old man who was arrested in Korbach in northern Hesse after the violent death of his father has been taken into custody. As a police spokesman in Korbach said on Thursday, he is suspected of having killed the 68-year-old on Tuesday. Investigators assume manslaughter. The police spokesman did not say whether the man commented on the allegations.
The dead man was found in a residential building on Tuesday by the alarmed police. Officers arrested the son at the scene. According to the first findings of the police, the pensioner died "through violence against the head". The background to the crime was still unclear.
