Kassel (dpa/lhe) - Murad Erdemir will be the new director of the Hessian State Institute for Private Broadcasting and New Media (LPR) from January 2023. The state institute announced this on Tuesday. Erdemir succeeds Joachim Becker, who will retire at the end of the year.
Born in Frankfurt, Erdemir has been a member of the LPR since 1999. Since 2001 he has worked as a legal advisor and since 2014 also as deputy director for the state institute. In addition, the doctor of law has held an honorary professorship for media law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen since 2013.
