Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) - Against the background of rising energy prices, the Hessian government wants to present an energy saving package for the state administration this Thursday (9:00 a.m.). Economics Minister Tarek Al-Wazir (Greens) and Finance Minister Michael Boddenberg (CDU) will present the plans together in Wiesbaden.
The state chancellery announced that the war in Ukraine was also having an impact on the supply of gas and electricity in the Hessian state administration. "The usual energy supply cannot be guaranteed for the coming heating season, and the country is preparing for significantly increasing prices for electricity and heat," the announcement said.
