Hesse: State parliament discusses planned integration law

Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) - How can administration become more digital? The members of the Hessian state parliament want to discuss this at the plenary session today (2 p.m.). The state government wants to introduce an amendment to the Hessian e-government law. Among other things, this is intended to expand communication with state authorities and municipalities for citizens and companies through user accounts.

Other topics on the first of three plenary days this week are accelerated control of animal diseases, municipal finances and strengthening a peaceful demonstration culture. Legislative drafts are also on the agenda. In addition, a debate on the planned Hessian integration law is expected late in the evening. Among other things, the draft law is about removing barriers to participation, especially for people with a migration background.
