Hesse: Sun and clouds at the beginning of the new week in Hesse

Offenbach (dpa / lhe) - The new week starts in Hesse with a mix of sun and clouds. Only on Wednesday did the sun's rays fully assert themselves again, as the German Weather Service (DWD) announced on Sunday in Offenbach. In the north, some snow was also possible on Sunday - with maximum temperatures between one and five degrees, in the higher mountains with permafrost at minus one degree.

On the night of Monday, the lows drop to minus three to minus five degrees – plus widespread frost and local frost. In the course of the day, sun and clouds then alternate, as the weather experts explained. A light breeze will blow from the northeast. The temperatures are between three and seven degrees. On Tuesday, the sky will remain mostly clear with the same temperatures. From the middle of the week, the meteorologists expect a lot of sun and hardly any clouds.
