Hesse: Truck driver robbed in the parking lot at night

Rosbach (dpa / lhe) - Unknown people are said to have robbed and beaten a truck driver in a parking lot in Wetteraukreis. While the 27-year-old was sleeping in his vehicle, a man is said to have climbed up to him and stolen a tablet and cash, among other things, the police said on Monday. In addition, the driver woke up the next morning next to his truck with pain in his face and could only partially remember a scuffle with the robber. On Saturday evening, during his break in a commuter parking lot between Rosbach and Köppern, the 27-year-old met two young men - one of them the later robber - and a woman who were driving a red small car with a foreign license plate. According to the information, the victim sat with them in the evening – they are also said to have drunk alcohol. After the 27-year-old went to sleep in his vehicle at around 10 p.m., he could only vaguely remember what happened next. The Wetterau criminal police are now looking for witnesses.
