Niederaula (dpa/lhe) - A truck loaded with old tires left the road on the A7 near Niederaula - the driver was seriously injured in the accident on Thursday morning. The 43-year-old was driving on the Autobahn in the direction of Kassel when his truck hit a crash barrier at the Niederaula junction for reasons that were previously unknown, the police said. As a result, the vehicle left the track on the right and came to a standstill on a green strip. The driver was taken to a hospital. According to the police, damage totaled 5,000 euros. The traffic itself was not affected.
