Wölfersheim (dpa/lhe) - Two people were injured when two cars collided on the B445 near Wölfersheim in the Wetteraukreis. On Monday morning, a 36-year-old driver wanted to drive onto the highway at a junction, the police said. The man overlooked an oncoming car in which a 47-year-old woman was driving. The collision resulted in both drivers being injured. The 47-year-old was taken to the hospital for an examination.
Because one of the two cars had burned from the impact, the fire brigade and road maintenance department were also on duty. Both cars were then towed away. The federal highway 445 in the area of the highway entrance was completely closed for around two hours.
