Idstein (dpa / lhe) - When two cars collided on the 3274 country road near Idstein im Taunus, two people were injured, one of them seriously. A 47-year-old driver overlooked the car of a 53-year-old when driving onto the country road, the police said on Wednesday night. The two cars then crashed into each other. The 53-year-old was seriously injured in the accident on Tuesday afternoon and had to be taken to a hospital. Her 13-year-old daughter, who was driving in the car, was handed over to her father at the scene of the accident with minor injuries.
According to the police, the cause of the accident is suspected to have been under the influence of narcotics at the time of the collision. The highway was partially closed for about four hours in the evening.
