Bensheim (dpa / lhe) - Unknown people partially destroyed a children's playground with a chainsaw. According to the police on Friday, the perpetrator or perpetrators demolished a play structure and a seesaw in Bensheim in southern Hesse (Bergstraße district). A large, old tree had also been felled. According to the findings, the saw was probably scheduled early Thursday morning. Around 4 a.m., a local resident heard the noise, but thought it was a dream. The witness later saw the destruction. Police estimated the damage at around $2,500.
