Limburg (dpa/lhe) - In the trial of an alleged murder with hedge trimmers, the pleas from the public prosecutor's office and the defense should be held on Thursday (from 2 p.m.). A 35-year-old German is sitting in the dock in the proceedings before the Limburg district court. The man is said to have killed his victim in September last year in Hadamar in the Limburg-Weilburg district.
The victim is said to have been a main witness in a preliminary investigation against the 35-year-old for dangerous bodily harm. The accused is said to have abused his victim in his apartment for about ten minutes with electronic hedge trimmers, a knife and beatings. According to the indictment, the attacked man, who was dependent on a walker, bled to death on his kitchen floor.
