Hesse: With 100 through the pedestrian zone: process for forbidden races

A 26-year-old driver is on Friday (10:00 a.m.) in front of the Frankfurt district court because of a prohibited race with a police car. According to the indictment, the chase began in June 2021 in a pedestrian zone in Frankfurt. There he stepped on the gas so that he reached up to 100 kilometers per hour. After he is said to have ignored several red lights and one-way streets, the police were able to find the driver. He was found to be under the influence of alcohol and had cocaine residues. The court wants to complete the process in one hearing day.
