Frankfurt (dpa/lhe) - An electric scooter driver was seriously injured in an accident with a patrol car on Saturday evening in Frankfurt. As the police announced on Sunday, the police car was driving out of town on Eschersheimer Landstrasse with the blue lights and siren on when the 26-year-old crossed the road at a pedestrian traffic light. There was a collision. According to current knowledge, the pedestrian traffic light showed green.
The driver of the electric scooter was reportedly taken to a hospital. The three occupants of the emergency vehicle were not physically injured, but the 28-year-old driver suffered a shock.
