Wiesbaden (dpa/lhe) - Two teenagers were attacked on Christmas Day in downtown Wiesbaden. The two 14 and 16-year-old youths were walking downtown on Sunday afternoon when a group approached them. "Three people from the group are said to have hit and kicked the young people immediately and apparently without reason. The victims were then asked for cash," the police said on Monday.

Since they did not comply with this request, they were beaten again. According to the police, the perpetrators left their victims and fled after passers-by noticed the incident. The two teenagers were slightly injured. An immediately initiated manhunt was initially unsuccessful. The main perpetrator is said to have been young.
