Hesse: Young robbers hit children and steal bikes

Limburg (dpa / lhe) - Two eleven and twelve year old boys were threatened and attacked by a group of young people in Limburg. The two boys were on their way home when they were stopped and beaten by the robbers, police said on Monday. A companion of the perpetrators is said to have filmed the attack with her cell phone. The 12-year-old was able to break free and escape. The young robbers then fled on his bicycle, but could be identified through information provided by a witness. One of them was only twelve years old. The young people were handed over to their legal guardians after the crime on Sunday. Now the police are investigating.
