Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) - A thief stole a backpack with valuable contents in an ICE on the way to Frankfurt. According to the victim, a businessman, diamonds worth 25,000 euros were inside, as the federal police announced on Thursday. There were 61 black industrial diamonds, and a diamond drill, a high-quality laptop and several hard drives were also in the backpack. The crime happened on Wednesday on the train from Amsterdam to Frankfurt. The man put the backpack in the luggage rack above his seat and found on arrival that he was no longer there.
