Hessen: Convicted fare dodger arrested

Frankfurt/Main (dpa/lhe) - A convicted fare dodger was arrested at Frankfurt Airport and taken to prison. The 51-year-old had to spend a four-month substitute prison sentence there, the federal police said on Tuesday. Last summer, the Frankfurt district court sentenced him to a fine of 1,200 euros for notorious fare evasion. Since he did not pay, an arrest warrant was issued for him. The man was discovered and arrested during a routine check at the airport on Monday.
