Kassel (dpa/lhe) - A fire in an iron foundry in Battenberg (Waldeck-Frankenberg district) caused extensive property damage on Thursday evening. people were not injured. As the police in Frankenberg/Eder announced, the fire broke out in a filter system. The exact reason for this has not yet been determined. The fire was already extinguished after about an hour and a half, but the police estimated the damage to property at over 300,000 euros in the evening.
