Pfungstadt (dpa/lhe) - The singers Sarah Connor and Andrea Berg and the band Broilers will perform at the Hessentag in Pfungstadt next year. The organizers announced this on Monday. The comedian Bülent Ceylan and the band Silbermond had previously been announced as acts. Sarah Connor's concert is scheduled for June 2nd, Andrea Berg's performance for June 10th.
The state festival will take place from June 2nd to 11th, 2023 after three years of corona-related cancellations. The Hessentag has existed since 1961.
In the coming year the motto is "Pfungstadt is attracting!". The southern Hessian municipality in the Darmstadt-Dieburg district had already organized the festival in 1973. According to the municipality, there should be up to 1000 larger and smaller events. The last Hessentag took place in Bad Hersfeld in 2019.
