Giessen (dpa/lhe) - Because of a fire in the basement, a building complex belonging to the Giessen police and the city of Giessen was evacuated on Friday morning. As a spokeswoman for the city of Gießen announced, there was a lot of smoke as a result of the fire in the basement. The fire was discovered immediately and quickly extinguished. "No one was injured. There was no damage to the building. It can be entered again," said the spokeswoman. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
