Offenbach (dpa/lhe) - After the sharp drop in temperature last week, it will be warmer again in Hesse in the coming days. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), by Tuesday at the latest, a south-west flow will push very warm subtropical air towards Central Europe. The result: In Hesse, with the exception of the high altitudes, temperatures of almost summer 24 degrees are possible again.
On Sunday, however, only 13 to 15 degrees were reached in many places - "too cool", as a DWD meteorologist said. However, it is still uncertain how long the summer weather will last. "The uncertainties in the models then increase significantly from Thursday night," said the meteorologist.
