High mountains. Tilting train: The Mobil'Hautes-Alpes Collective reacts to the Region's announcements

Jean-Pierre Serrus (Vice-President of the Region) explained in our columns that the summer tilting train linking Gap and Serre Poncon could be operational by 2023. We are beginning to receive a number of study items. He said that we would decide within the next few months. The Mobil'Hautes-Alpes Collective, which published a study about mobility in the Haut-Alpins, reacted to this Friday's publication. He said that he was "delighted to see the question about the development of the train in [our] district finally considered", but he regretted not having been "informed" of any study on this topic on the line to the Alps. The collective had made several proposals, but the train was only one of them. Mobil'Hautes-Alpes concludes, "This project, as it was thought and built with the actors on the territory, cannot be restricted to a tourist train that would serve the lake Serre Poncon." Jean-Pierre Serrus asked him to meet Renaud Muselier (President of the Region).
