Tina Turner has already lost a son once, and now another stroke of fate hits the 83-year-old: Ronnie Turner, the singer's biological son, died at the age of 62. That explains his wife Afida on Instagram. The cause of death is still unclear.

Singer Tina Turner has to cope with another heavy loss: her son Ronnie died at the age of 62. His wife, the musician Afida Turner (45), announced this in an Instagram post. Captioning a photo of her, Ronnie and Tina Turner together, she wrote: "I did my best to the end but I couldn't save you. I've loved you for 17 years. It's very bad. I'm very angry."

It is a tragedy that a "true angel" and a "great soul" like Ronnie has now passed away. He is now reunited with his brother Craig and father Ike Turner: "Rest in peace," said Afida Turner. She also shared more photos of her late husband, with whom she had been married since 2007. Details of the cause of death are not known. The US celebrity portal TMZ reported on an emergency medical service after respiratory arrest. The revival failed. However, Ronnie has had serious health problems, including cancer, for years, the portal wrote. Tina Turner has not yet commented on the loss.

The 83-year-old singer is the mother of two biological and two adopted children. Their son Craig Turner died on July 3, 2018 in Los Angeles at the age of 59. He took his own life at the time. Tina Turner was 18 years old when he was born. His father was saxophonist Raymond Hill, who performed with Ike Turner's band Kings of Rhythm.

Craig was adopted by Ike Turner after he and Tina Turner married in 1962. Together, the two then had son Ronnie Turner. The marriage was divorced in 1978. Tina Turner then adopted Ike's two sons from a previous relationship. Ike Turner died of a cocaine overdose in 2007.

When Tina's son Craig died four years ago, the singer shared on Instagram: "My saddest moment as a mother. He was 59 years old when he died so tragically but he will always be my baby". She also posted a photo of a rose falling into the sea. The singer lives in Switzerland with her second husband, German music manager Erwin Bach.
