It is one of the most stunning scenes on Lake Geneva each year... 500 sailboats will start the Bol d’Or Mirabaud at 10 a.m. Saturday from the Societe Nautique de Geneve. This is a town that is very festive.
This gathering brings together 3,500 amateur sailors as well as more experienced sailors. The first boats will circumnavigate Lake Ontario on Saturday. The last boats will arrive at the shore on Sunday at 5 PM.
It runs from Geneva to Le Bouveret at the eastern end. 123 kilometres. You will be able to see the sailboats from every point on the French coast.
