Hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage: Thieves break into Megan Thee Stallion's home

According to a report, burglars break into her Los Angeles mansion while rapper Megan Thee Stallion is guesting on "Saturday Night Live" in New York. The unknown perpetrators apparently stole cash and valuables during their thieving spree.

Unknown thieves are said to have broken into the home of rapper Megan Thee Stallion. As the celebrity portal "TMZ" reports, two men destroyed the back door of their home in Los Angeles on Thursday night and thus gained access to the Grammy award winner's bedroom.

The burglars stole $300,000 to $400,000 worth of jewelry, cash and electronics, the celebrity website reports, citing anonymous law enforcement sources. The police are now trying to track down the perpetrators via surveillance videos of the property and the surrounding area. So far there have been no arrests.

The 27-year-old rapper was not at home at the time of the crime. She was preparing to guest host the late-night show Saturday Night Live in New York. On Twitter, Megan Thee Stallion seems to confirm the incident with a short tweet: "Material things can be replaced, but I'm glad everyone is doing well."
