"I'm very up for it": Elton would like to move to the jungle camp

Because of the money, moderator Elton would not (yet) have to flirt with the jungle camp. Nevertheless, he would actually like to be part of one of the next issues. And that as a candidate, mind you, even if it brings him "trouble".

Elton is certainly one of the moderators who could well be imagined alongside Sonja Zietlow in the jungle camp. But this personnel question has already been decided elsewhere. After Daniel Hartwich left his moderation post on "I'm a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!" voluntarily gave up, Jan Köppen will follow in his footsteps from next year as the nation's gossip.

But anyway, Elton doesn't seem too keen on a place in the cozy tree house. Nevertheless, a desire for the jungle camp rumbles in him – as a candidate, as he blurted out in a live stream of questions on Instagram.

"I don't like being a candidate," the 51-year-old initially rejects the question of which show participation would appeal to him. But shortly afterwards he reveals what "Guilty Pleasure" is driving him.

"If I say again that I would like to go to the jungle camp, I'll get in trouble again," explains Elton with a laugh. In fact, he had had lengthy discussions about what would happen if he participated. But: "I'm very, very up for it," says Elton.

Everyone advised him against it, but he thought: "If not now, then when? Because now I'm in the mood for it. Later I may have to go in there in a few years because I can't do anything."

It shouldn't really be financial reasons that make him flirt with the jungle show. Especially at ProSieben, where he recently moderated his own new show "Blamieren oder kassieren XL", he is still doing well. But in the past not all celebrities who were looking for a challenge in the camp were burned down. Or maybe someone thinks Thorsten Legat needed it? With this in mind: please, please, come, dear Elton, and give us Kasalla!
