In Boris Becker's footsteps: Anna Ermakova is now playing tennis

"I'm not necessarily good," admits Anna Ermakova. But at least at the hobby level, she now emulates her famous father on the tennis court. Meanwhile, she hopes that Boris Becker will soon be released from prison.

Since Boris Becker was sentenced to two and a half years in prison for delaying bankruptcy at the end of April 2022, the former tennis star has been in prison in England. However, daughter Anna Ermakova has not yet given up hope that her famous father will not have to serve the full sentence behind bars.

Her wish is "that he gets out of prison earlier, that he feels safe, stays hopeful and doesn't give up," says the 22-year-old in an interview with "Bunte Quarterly". "He has the support of his family and his fans," said the model in an interview with the magazine.

Ermakova also graces the cover of the magazine. You can see her with a tennis racket in her hand. And not without reason. She reveals that she has followed in her father's footsteps, at least on a hobby level: "My mother wanted me to start with it. I went to tennis holiday camps in the summer. I'm not particularly good, but I enjoy it playing outside with my friends."

Instead of fighting for points on center court like her father once did, she prefers to pose there as a model. That is still her career wish, she explains. In addition, she would like to try herself as an actress. "But first I want to finish my studies well", Ermakova has staked out her next career goal.

Anna Ermakova is the daughter of Boris Becker and catwalk model Angela Ermakova, who only had a short affair. She discovered modeling early on. At the age of 14 she made her catwalk debut at Berlin Fashion Week. If the relationship with her father was still difficult when she was young, the relationship has since relaxed significantly.
