"Her Majesty the Queen tested positive for Covid-19 last night and is now staying at Fredensborg Palace," the statement said. Fredensborg Palace is located north of the capital Copenhagen.
The Queen's activities this week have been canceled, the palace said in a statement. However, the "Friday evening party at Christiansborg Palace for the government, the Danish Parliament and the Danish Members of the European Parliament" has not been cancelled.
