A 40-year old hiker was walking in the Tete des baumiers section, near Mont Aiguille in Chichilianne on Saturday, June 4th, when she was struck by a rock. His femur was broken. She was rescued by two rescuers from the Modane PGHM (Savoie) and a doctor from the Smur of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne (Savoie) and airlifted to the Grenoble University Hospital with the helicopter from the Modane gendarmerie air detachment.
