Members of the Civil Guard in La Rioja, in collaboration with agents of the Lardero Local Police, have proceeded to arrest a 26-year-old man, resident in the capital of La Rioja, as the alleged perpetrator of two crimes of sexual assault on minors age in Lardero.
The events for which this person has been arrested occurred around 9:00 p.m. on May 1, when agents of the Civil Guard and Lardero Local Police learned how two minors aged 14 and 17 had been approached in different streets of the town by the same individual, who harassed and intimidated them with profanity and sexual proposals.
The seriousness of the events prompted both police forces to coordinate an extensive search for this individual. A few hours after the events occurred and thanks to the collaboration of a group of young people, the alleged perpetrator was located and arrested in one of the streets of the town of Lardero.
After the investigation of the proceedings, the detainee was placed at the disposal of the judicial authority, which ordered his release with charges and the prohibition of approaching less than three hundred meters from the minors, from their homes, places of study and any other places frequented by the victims, as well as the prohibition of communication with them by any means, in addition, the prohibition of going and/or residing in the municipality of Lardero.
