La Rochelle: Roscella Bay Festival announces its first headliners

Roscella Bay is back in La Rochelle. The 6th edition, which mixes electronic music, techno, and rap, will be held from September 16-18, after two years of cancellations due to the Covid health crisis.

The event was originally held in Gabut, then at Bout Blanc. It is now being moved to the Technoforum esplanade. The four remaining headliners are revealed if around 25 artists are announced.

Laylow is a rising star in French rap. Laylow's melancholic flow and sometimes science-fiction atmosphere have allowed him to fill the Zenith de Paris twice in just a few hours. He will be the face of this edition if he has any collaborations with rappers or musicians.

Anetha should be just as popular. The former architect is a leader of the new generation French DJs. His techno, which combines the sounds of the 1990s and the most current rhythms, should be a hit.

Ms Nina is the third artist to be announced. Nothing to do the two previous artists. The French singer, who sings in Spanish, offers a hilarious Latin hip-hop and dances for women. Lulu Von Trapp rounds out this first list. This French group, with its completely bizarre looks (red latex suits and kilts to the boys), was inspired by Rita Mitsouko/La Femme. Mixture of melancholic and baroque rock. The remainder of the lineup will be announced in the next week.
