The majority of voters in Claix or Pont-de-Claix still have not received their electoral envelopes in the 4th constituency. Why? The prefecture in Isere states that it is concerned about the "doubt on 12,000 folds (4th district), that is, approximately 1% of Isere's voters, and that the prefecture will make every effort to correct the problem if it can".
The 2nd district has received recent propaganda. The documents were almost all complete. Cyrielle Chatelain, candidate for Nupes (New Popular Ecologist and Social Union), says that several residents of Vizille, Laffrey, Champ-sur-Drac and Saint-Barthelemy-de-Sechilienne have told her team that her profession of faith does not was not part of the election propaganda received. After verification, we have found that no one in the sector has received the Nupes document. However, other residents have received the document well. The candidate said that "this absence from the area of residence represents a significant portion of the constituency" and it poses a serious problem for fairness in the June 12 ballot.
Cyrielle Chatelain and Alban Rosa, her deputy, went to Vizille on Thursday to distribute as many faith professions as possible through letterboxes. They also took their activists with them to Vizille to "try to catch up" with the consequences of the prefecture's organization of shipments. Cyrielle Chatelain's team is appealing to the inhabitants of the 2nd district to report, by email (contact@cyriellechatelain.fr), the absence of the Nupes document in the propaganda received, "to have this anomaly notified at the trial -verbal of their polling station on Sunday, in order to measure the extent and alert the institution".
The prefecture's services commented on Thursday evening that "It would have had been noted the non-profession of faith by a candidate from the 2nd district. This error may have been made in one envelope, but it is still a small fraction of the 8.8 million faith professions and ballot papers submitted by 960 volunteers last weekend. Each sector was checked by sampling and the envelopes were manually enveloped.
The prefecture recalls that the declarations of the candidates are available on www.elections.interieur.gouv.fr.
