Traffic jams are common on the roads as it's the start of summer holidays. This Saturday is the first weekend of holiday departures and motorists are swarming the roads. Bison Fute has categorized several departments in the Auvergne–Rhone-Alpes region as black, while the rest of France is red. This announces a busy day, especially in the Rhone Valley.

> Isere: The first slowdowns in Isere are felt between Serezin-du-Rhone, Chasse-sur-Rhone, and Chasse-sur-Rhone for more than 5km.

A few kilometers further on, there is a slowdown between Chasse-sur-Rhone et Seyssuel. It is more than 4.6 km.

> You must be patient in the Drome, especially when crossing Valence. It is very busy on A7 towards Marseille. It takes 2 hours 45 minutes to complete the Lyon-south/Orange trip at 10 a.m. instead of 1 hour 35. From Saint-Uze to Etoile-sur-Rhone, traffic is jammed for 40.7km.

28km of slowdowns can be expected near Montelimar from Savasse towards La Garde-Adhemar.

> The speed limit of 110 km/h was introduced to the entire A7.

This Saturday in Lyon-Marseille, Bison Fute anticipates the largest crowds between 7 and 10 a.m.

Traffic will be clogged in the direction Marseille-Lyon between 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (black).
