LOC Patricia Rite, from MyHyV, who became an influencer for her fight against skin cancer, dies

The young 'influencer', Patricia Rite, has died as a result of skin cancer that she was diagnosed with four years ago. This was announced this Sunday by her family through Huelva's social networks, with the following message: "Today Patricia Rite has left us. Her mother and her relatives ask for respect in these hard times. Thank you all the people who, in one way or another, have given him support and love during this time, directly or indirectly".

The Andalusian was in charge of giving visibility to cancer from her own experience. Through her networks, she recounted each of her achievements, her progress, but also her hardest moments.

Unlike most cases of skin cancer, Patricia's disease is not caused by excessive exposure to the sun's ultraviolet rays, but by a mole she had since she was little. From that moment, the young woman began a treatment that periodically counted her followers: more than 300,000 followers between her Instagram and TikTok accounts.

At the beginning of March, the woman from Huelva burst into tears when she received the results of her last TAC. Her health gradually worsened, to the point of needing to spend her last period of life hospitalized due to the severe pain she had. "It is hard to see how, whatever you do, the disease is gaining ground and is not controlled, despairing and frustrating, and above all, seeing those who love you by your side suffer."
