The American tennis player Serena Williams, who retired last September after winning 23 'big' in her career, announced her second pregnancy on Monday in a message on her Instagram account published before her participation in the Met Gala in New York.
"I was very happy when Anna Wintour invited the three of us to the Met Gala," Serena Williams wrote, adding a series of photos in which she appears in an elegant black dress, touching her belly and smiling with her husband Alexis Ohanian.
Williams, 41, had her first daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian, in 2017.
The former American player participates this Monday in the Met Gala in New York, one of the most exclusive social events in the United States, known as "the great night of fashion."
In his legendary career, Williams won 73 trophies, including 23 'major' ones, with seven Wimbledons, seven Australian Opens, six US Opens and three Roland Garros.
